These Baked Cinnamon Apple Wedges are the perfect, healthy snack. 4 ingredients, 2 minutes of prep, and 10 minutes in the oven.
Let’s talk about apples. Is there anything better than fresh and juicy apples? My love for Danish apples when they’re in season is like nothing else.
Last week the first batch of Danish apples reached the stores, and oh boy, was I excited. It literally made my day. The love is real.
I use apples in just about anything. I use them in Indian curries, vegetable stir-fry, cakes, and porridge. I’m definitely making the most of them while I can.
A friend of mine reminded me last week of how amazing baked apple wedges are. I first tried them a few years ago, and I’ve loved them ever since.
Now that apples are back in season, I’ll be making these all the time.
The apples are coated in cinnamon and nutmeg and sweetened with maple syrup. Cinnamon and apples are a match made in heaven. Nutmeg adds even more flavour and it goes so well with the cinnamon.
Together these four ingredients create an amazingly quick and delicious snack. It requires about two minutes of prep and ten minutes in the oven.
