Who else is a fan of the chocolate-chili-combo that’s been going on for a few years now? Chocolate + chili can do no wrong. Unless you add too much chili… Having chocolate chili granola for breakfast is a perfect way to start your day, except when you add so much chili it burns your mouth. Been there, done that.
It’s definitely not your typical chocolate granola but let me tell you, it might be your new favourite. It’s definitely mine! It’s crunchy, perfectly sweet, full of fibre and satisfying. It’s also really delicious. If you’re a lover of chocolate and a bit of heat, you’re going to love this recipe.
It comes together so easily. All you literally need to do is combine all of the ingredients, spread it out on a baking tray and pop it in the oven. 15 minutes later the granola is done and your kitchen, if not your whole apartment, will smell absolutely amazing.
If you’re not too keen on chili, you can simply leave out the chili powder. It’s still a delicious granola! Also, don’t worry if you’re missing one or two of the ingredients listed. Simply substitute it with more of one of the other, another ingredient you have, or leave it out completely. No biggy.
