Snack on something chocolatey and sweet with these Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Bites. They’re perfect for on-the-go, loaded with nutrients, and just overall amazing.
If you’re new here or just simply haven’t noticed, my favourite recipes tend to be the ones that are super simple and quick.
Simplicity makes my mind happy. Which is where these chocolate chip peanut butter bites come in.
All you need are 7 basic ingredients, 1 food processor, and 10 minutes.
And though I’m still hopelessly in love with my buckwheat cacao energy bites, these bites may actually take over the top spot.
Let’s talk ingredients. This recipe calls for:
Oats – I’m always looking for a new way to use oats.
Dates – juicy, energizing, and only slightly addicting.
Peanut Butter – one can never have too much peanut butter.
Almond meal – brings flavour and texture.
Vanilla – adds a subtle vanilla flavour to the bites.
Dark chocolate chips – because chocolate.
Salt – helps enhance all of the amazing flavours.
Awesome things about this recipe include that they’re naturally sweetened (except for the dark chocolate), satisfies your sweet cravings, perfect for on-the-go-snacking, loaded with nutrients, and just overall kind of amazing.
Have these bites as an energizing, healthy snack during the afternoon or evening, and just because I’m a chocolate-lover, I like to enjoy mine with a cup of hot chocolate. Good stuff.
